GRP spray lay up techniques – 1 Day Course
A one-day practical course involving gel coat spray, resin glass spray and resin fed rollers for woven materials techniques. This course is from EAL Materials Processing and Finishing Level 3 MPF3/051 Producing Composite Mouldings using wet lay up techniques unit 5.

· Gelcoat spraying
· Gelcoat machine cleaning and shut down
· Resin glass spray machine set up and checks
· Resin glass laminating by spray and resin fed roller
· Machine cleaning and shut down
The course is for students reasonably experienced and competent in hand laminating techniques that want to progress to producing large laminates using a chopped strand mat construction for quick, cost-effective high turnover of product.
