About Us
City Training was established in 1982 to offer training to local people and businesses. The organisation merged with Southampton City College in 2006 to become one of the largest training providers in Hampshire. We have two sites in the heart of this multi-cultural city at the St Mary's Stadium and in St Mary's Street.
The training opportunities that we offer include apprenticeship programmes, in a wide variety of occupational areas, for people aged 16-24. Working closely with local schools and colleges, we help young people to gain employment, skills, qualifications and help businesses recruit new members of staff.
From our site in St Mary's Sreet we offer the Entry to Employment programme (E2E). City Training is dedicated to enriching the skills of the city's workforce and community and promoting relationships with local business and enterprise.
