AAT

What is AAT AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) is an internationally recognised accounting qualification for all those working in the finance and accounting industry. The qualification is sponsored by 4 of the United Kingdom's major accounting bodies and highly regarded by employers due to its practical nature. There are no minimum entry criteria and no age restrictions.

AAT consists of foundation , intermediate and technician levels which each take a year to complete. Each level represents a qualification in its own right and candidates receive a certificate of recognition for each complete stage.

Exemptions are granted for appropriate qualifications/experience and some students may commence at intermediate or technician level. If you are unsure which level is suitable for you, you can complete the AAT skill check by clicking here. The qualification is achieved through tutor led study, assessment and examination. AAT will provide an exceptional aid to career progression and can also be used as exemption to further study in CIMA, CIPFA, ICAEW etc
